For 4,356 scenic acres perfect for bird watching and cross-country skiing, visit Pharsalia Wildlife Management Area in Chenango County. Another venue for wintry recreation is Bowman Lake State Park with 660 acres including trails for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

Try tobogganing or snowshoeing at Greenwood Park in Greater Binghamton and melt the icicles from the tip of your nose between trails in their warming room. For cross-country skiing, the combined trail system offers approximately 5.5 miles and includes groomed trails to accommodate all skill levels, beginner to expert. |
